Leo Mejia

Leonardo has been a key member of the Marketplace Physical Therapy team for almost three years. His path to physical therapy was driven by a clear philosophy: he wanted to empower people to help themselves heal, focusing on lasting recovery rather than relying on medications or temporary band-aids. Leonardo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Riverside and earned his physical therapy assistant degree from Stanbridge University. He is also certified in advanced specialized techniques, including Graston, Myofascial Decompression, and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) therapy. What he loves most about working at MPT is collaborating with his great team and working alongside his awesome patients every day.
Outside the clinic, Leonardo loves hitting the golf course, enjoying the outdoors, and spending quality time with his fiancée, family, and friends. At home, he’s a proud dog dad to Bean and Chief—two incredible pups who keep life fun and lively. And when it comes to food, Leonardo’s top choices are a great steak, a classic burger, or delicious Filipino cuisine!
