Dr. Steven Nieto
(PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. SMT, Owner and Clinical Director)
Dr. Steven Nieto graduated from Loma Linda University with his doctorate degree in physical therapy. He is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist which only 3% of physical therapists in the US have achieved. Dr. Nieto attained the distinction of being a certified Spinal Manipulative Therapist in 2015 which allows him to provide the latest evidence-based manual interventions for a multitude of spinal disorders.
Dr. Nieto is the owner of Marketplace physical therapy and has taken great pride in providing the Inland Empire with physical therapy that is wellness focused and treats each and every patient like family. He has an active role overseeing all 5 of the MPT clinics. Marketplace Physical Therapy is and always will be community based, with the goal of bringing wellness to the communities we serve.
Dr. Nieto is an avid triathlete and has completed 3 Ironman triathlons, his latest with a time of 11:07:38. Dr. Nieto’s wife Veronica is an accomplished marathoner and has competed in 12 consecutive Boston Marathons. The Nieto family has many outdoor hobbies including skiing, hiking and mountain biking. Dr. Nieto has two children, Brianna who competes in cross country, and Joshua who plays both football and baseball for their school.
