Dr. Shayan Karim
(PT, DPT)
Shayan has been a dedicated member of the Marketplace Physical Therapy team for four years, starting as a student intern in early 2022 before officially joining as a clinician after earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Western University of Health Sciences that same year. Shayan’s passion for physical therapy was first sparked by his own recovery journey following ankle surgery, where an empowering experience with a therapist showed him the incredible impact of guided rehabilitation and patient education. Today, what he enjoys most about working at MPT is interacting with patients from all diverse backgrounds and helping them heal so they can return to doing what they love.
Outside of work, Shayan is an avid golfer who loves traveling to new courses, discovering new places to eat, and spending quality time with his wife. When it comes to food, Thai is his ultimate go-to craving. At home, life is kept lively by his two cats, Maya and Adonis, who are still working on getting along!
